John Nowicki recently joined Excel Sports Management, a full-service management and marketing agency that represents iconic athletes, talent, brands, and properties. In his current role, John is responsible for developing brand partnerships on behalf of Excel’s roster of sports and entertainment properties.
With an extensive background in sales and marketing positions within MLB, NASCAR, and IMG College, John brings a wealth of experience representing properties across the US. He leverages his background to construct fully integrated partnerships that benefit both rights holders and brand partners. Before Excel, John was with the Oakland Athletics (AIG) where he responsible for developing corporate partnerships across all AIG commercial assets, including the Athletics Baseball Club, Oakland Coliseum, and the Oakland Ballpark at Jack London Square. He also spent three seasons with NASCAR (formerly International Speedway Corporation), selling and managing partnerships across its 13 facility and national radio network. John holds an MBA and Masters in Sports Administration from Ohio University, which is historically ranked as the #1 Sports Business program globally. Before graduate school, he was a scholarship student-athlete for the University of Detroit Mercy’s Division I Lacrosse program. |
